Omg discussions about religion when people have opposing viewpoints are the most uncomfortable conversations imaginable, especially when both individuals have strong opinions. Karen is beginning to overstep a boundary here. Curious to see how this pans out.

How the hell did she have the perfect answers ready so quickly? I always just sputter and then think this stuff later, angrily, by myself.

I think it's also due to the fact that her comments are scripted by an unseen hand ;) Actual discussions are rarely composed that well. It's not a criticism, just something most everyone does when writing fiction.

I attributed it to the fact Karen is normally a southern-drawl goofball but in this case shes repeating what shes heard in church/from parents/from pastors so it's more like structured.

What a trip! Just went through the story. Fascinating! I look forward to seeing David come further out of his shell. Hopefully in a good way. Also the mystery of those visions. Interesting to see if there's more to did than dreams.
