With how embarrassing David finds music, that's really curious that he ends up liking one with such crude and "upfront" lyrics :P Oh, sweet pointy-faced child...

His exposure to music was limited - mainly mainstream pop or rock overheard in stores or radio, which tend to contain rather safe or sentimental expressions. He has experience listening to other varieties by making deliberate efforts, but gets overwhelmed or some other reason and tunes out.
He trusted Jason and challenged himself by sitting down with a CD that contains dark themes, which he ended up appreciating, but especially on a topic he never hears explicitly about (he even claims it to be comforting, which is kind of important to him as he finds most music alienating as touched upon in this page).

Ah, okay. Methinks this ties into his more recent dream... something about deep repressed feelings and to have them painted so plainly and animalistic maybe makes him feel less isolated? That's a theory, at least.
Really enjoying the colors and expressions on this page, btw. The character interactions are always a delight. :)

The dream is a type of reflection. The contents will be explored later on.
Thank you!
